The old Phoenix Pine

  In the middle of Minyuan Park, there is a famous scenic spot¡ªThe old Phoenix Pine. It is 7.68 meters tall and 1 meter in width, whose shape looks queerly like a phoenix spreading wings, that¡¯s why it was so named. The trunk is mainly level but with a raising head, which is the head of the phoenix, the two branches, one on top of the other, is the tail, under which there is a huge rock called ¡°phoenix¡¯s egg¡±. The old Phoenix Pine can be traced back to South and North Dynasty, which is 1,400 years from our time. However, the old  phoenix pine is in jade green, is filling with vigorous life. With its majestic posture and interesting legend, the old phoenix became the apple of the eyes of many poets, drawers, and photographers. It is eulogized ¡°Numble one Pine in the land under heaven¡±.
